Hey All,
Here are a few pictures of our "sleep-over"this past weekend. For those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you like crazy! We had a really good time though! Here are the highlights of the weekend:
1. Surviving the car ride with Jill behind the wheel...and not crashing in the car garage!
2. Running across the street with Whitney holding the orange flag so we didn't get hit by a car - and almost getting hit anyway!
3. Freezing our tooshies off because we walked to a restaurant that didn't exist. Luckily, Macaroni Grill was close by, so we ended up eating there.
4. Waiting FOREVER to get our food, only to find that four of us had food that was cold.
5. Tara asking the waitress if anybody would "spit in our food".
6. Generous offers to "massage somebody's cysts" if they would stay the night...(you DEFINITELY had to be there to understand this one.)
7. Laughing SO hard in the restaurant, that several of us almost needed the Heimlich Maneuver.
8. Way too many camera happy moments in the hotel. (We stayed at The Hilton.)
9. Late night trip to Olive Garden for desert. (Two restaurants in one night!)
10. Staying up until 3:00 in the morning talking about EVERYTHING from babies to blogging.
11. Discussing the Twilight Series and what we all think Edward should look like in the movie - and how much we all love him.
12. Getting woken up way too early by some weirdo knocking on our door!
13. Shopping at the Gateway, lusting after clothes from Anthropologie that none of us could afford. ($18 for a tiny little headband?? Are you kidding?)
14. Divine hot chocolate at Starbucks for breakfast...at 11:45 in the morning!
15. Surviving our close call fender bender in the parking lot.
16. Dealing with the "oh-so-pleasant" man in the pay booth.
17. Finding a "fast food" restaurant on the way home, so we could be quick, and ending up waiting in line for 30 minutes!
18. Feeling like really big teenagers all weekend.
What else am I missing?? Sara? You're good at giving the re-cap...anything you want to add? Anyway, we had a wonderful time getting away from real life for 24 hours. Thanks Jill for planning this and for everyone that came. It was a wonderful breath of fresh air!
Love you guys,
Liz

Thanks for the re-cap I have to admit I even laughed again just reading it. I really had a great time and we missed all that were not there. I can't wait until the next club. Oh by the way my lists had a few errors, so I am going to try and re-do them. I am sorry I will try and get them done soon.
I think you covered everything. It was a fun time and I laughed reading the re-cap also. How fun are we? I sure wish everyone could have made it. We could put it in the News/Press as "a good time was had by all!"
LOL! Sara...your little comment about putting it in the press made me laugh so hard, I almost spit out my water I was drinking!!!! That's what I love most about us all being friends -- we NEVER EVER stop making each other laugh! Oh - and Tara...you don't need to completely RE-DO those lists...they were adorable and you put so much work into them. Just post the changes on here, or email us the changes and we can all write them in ourselves. I would hate to see all of your hard work go to waste. :)
I am going to try using the blog for the first time. I see Im missing alot by not checking it often. I had a ton of fun in SLC. Thank you Jill for planning it and thank you Liz for writing about it and posting the pictures. They were fun to look at even if I didn't like taking them.
This part is for Sara cuz I know she checks the blog. I was cooking dinner last night and had to experiment, do to lack of ingredients. When I was done it turned out really good and it made me think of you because I think you could eat it and it's mexican food. Anyways I thought I'd share it with you.
Chicken Enchiladas, This part I did in the crockpot. Chicken Breasts, hot pace salsa, 1 fresh lime, squezed out all the juice into mixture, fresh cilantro chopped, just a handful or so. Cooked it for a few hours or until it's done. Then I fried corn tortillas in oil and then filled them with the chicken. The sauce or juice that's left in the crockpot I poured over tortillas, topped with cheese and baked in oven until cheese was melted. I hope that made some sense. Anyways my kids loved it and I thought you might like it too. Sharla
Thanks so much Sharla! I always need new receipes. I can't wait to try it.
I'm sorry I missed the weekend. By the way, I'm putting a baby up for sale if anyone is interested! Oh, and another by the way, you can find out what Edward looks like on the website (yeah, I am a huge nerd). It is Stehpaniemeyer.com. I pictured him cuter but I'm pretty sure the guy I picture doesn't exist. Anyway, I hope to see you all soon!
Sounds like you all had fun. So sad I missed it. Hey Gina, don't worry I am feeling the same way you do. You forget how nice you had it with two toddlers. My baby is waking up at as I am typing this from his 30 min. nap I can't stand it why don't they sleep longer? I just keeping thinking there is no where to go but up! Right?!! Well hope to see everyone soon.
so sad i missed this! my fav pic is whitney with the orange flag.
i agree with gina. that guy is nowhere near the level of sexiness i have come to expect of edward cullen.
