Club Update

This is Kevin, Laker and Baurer- so when I talk about them you will know what they look like.

So for those that didn't come, we had club last night. Who was there, you ask... well since you asked... Tara, Sara, Gina, Whitney, Sharla, Mindy (at the first), Jill (at the end). It was fun as always, and we missed all that couldn't make it. The main new news is that Gina is going to have a boy, and Whitney will find out what she is having next week. Tara is looking forward to December 15 so she and Scott will know where they will be living for the few years. Mindy found out that it is ok to call a babysitter last minute. Sharla works a few hours every morning at an elementary school, and her daughter is now a beehive! And Jill is still adjusting to city life and putting her yard in. Of course there is so much more, but if you don't come you will not find out!
Liz - I have read the Twilight series and I love it also. So much that I was addicted, not only to the books but also to her website. I have read anything and everything on it. I love how she articulates conversations, they just seem to flow so well.
Oh - little update on my favorite song right now - Apologize by One Republic - I could listen to it over and over. If you haven't heard it, you can on youtube

Jaimi had her baby!

Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know that Jaimi had her baby on Thursday, Oct. 18th. His name is Lucas and he weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 19.5 inches. He's such a cutie!

ok - so I check this at least twice a week and can't believe that there hasn't been anything new. So how is everybody? And Liz I have been thinking about you and your little Nic and have been wondering if all of that is going any better. I was going to call, but I thought hey I have wanted to see something new on this, so I guess it has to me to do it. I hope everyone is doing well. As for me things are good, and almost the same as always. I did just read the Nicholas Sparks new book The Choice, and it was very lovey like all of his novels, that is why I love him. Kevin is good, and our dogs are great. Laker is sleeping inside at night and loves it, and Bauer sleeps in the laker room and has his own pillow and thinks he is pretty cool. On my way to work I noticed that the sunrise was exceptionally pretty, I love this time of year. So now that I have rambled and given you all something to read, I hope you all will let at least me know what is going on. Sara

Designer Jeans and Lia Sophia Party!

Hi Girls,
Now it's my turn to have a party. :) This Thursday night (Sept. 6th) from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, I'm having a Lia Sophia jewlry party and a Designer Jean party. If you haven't heard about the jean parties...they are awesome! The following jeans will be there: True Religions, Rockin Republic, Sevens, Citizens of Humanity, Joe's and maybe some Habituals. The price's are way cheaper than you would find in the store and she is also bringing two huge clearance bins full of stuff! Anyway, I hope you guys can all come...it should be lots of fun!

alright girls, i'm a little pissed off right now. after club and the shoe party some of us went to sara's to have a beverage and prolong the mini-vacation from home. i have no idea how we got on the topic, (how do we get on any of these crazy topics?) but i was shocked to find out that out of five of us, i was the only one who has had an annual exam in the past year. i know what you are thinking.... it's because i have had a baby in the past year, but that is beside the point. i have never missed an annual appt!!! that is why they call it an annual - because you need to go in EVERY year! the great news about being almost 30 is that we won't need pap smears as frequently, but should still go in for an annual checkup. click here to read about the importance of pap smears. there are some pretty simple things we can do to take care of ourselves, and one visit to the ob/gyn each year is one of them. if it has been awhile, please let this serve as a reminder to call and schedule your checkup today! i want to see comments as to who has or hasn't been in this year... and if you think this is bad, just wait until we are turning 50 and i start keeping track of who has and hasn't had a colonoscopy!

I'm having a shoe Pary

Hey guys I finally got around to trying this out, and after talking to liz twice I think I have got it. I wanted to let you all know that I am having a shoe party ( I know it sound funny) It's on Wed Aug 29th from 7:00 until 8:30. The lady will bring a whole truck load of shoes of all kinds and all sizes. I hope that you can all come it's going to be great fun. I know all of you are not going to see this so I will try and call as well. My other news that you might have heard by now is that I'm having a baby in March.

Julie had her baby!

Hi everyone, I just wanted you all to know that Julie had her baby. His name is Ethan and he was born August 16. He weighs 6lbs 9ozs. She said he looks a lot like Chloe did when she was little. She is doing really well, Ryan is the proud dad, and Chloe is still trying to get use to the idea of having a little brother. We are pretty lucky to add another little one to our club family.

Food storage anyone?

Hey girls,
I am going down to the food cannery on Monday, August 27th at 10:00 am to stock up on my food storage. Mondays are the free days where people can just show up and get to town on their own...you don't have to schedule with your ward or anything. Anyway, just wondering if any of you want to come with! I did it about a year ago and to be honest, it's kind of fun! Plus, you are left with a really good feeling, knowing that you are a tiny bit closer to being prepared for an emergency. Yeah...good feelings. Anyway, post here if you are interested, or give me a call!

Club this Thursday

Hey girlies,

I'm having club this Thursday at my house at 6:30 pm. I left messages with most everybody, but couldn't reach Lindsey Vest. If any of you talk to her, will you please let her know? (or hopefully she'll see this post!)

I think we'll stick around my house for the night and eat mexican food and have a lesson on how to post messages on this awesome blog that Mindi made for all of us! (ha ha) I'm starting to wonder if Mindi and I are the only ones who even read it. :)

finally!!!

we have talked about this FOREVER and now we finally have our own club website! i hope this helps us keep in touch and keep up with what is going on with everyone. one of these days we need to get a picture with everyone... we are missing whitney & megan in this one!
