Hey guys - here are some pictures from our Christmas party last night! It was fun seeing everybody and of course, we missed those who couldn't come!

See? Aren't you guys glad I brought my camera {again}? I'm telling you... when we're 90, we'll look back at these and love them!

Hope everybody has a happy new year!

Christmas Party

Yea! It is time for our Christmas party. So the date is...
Monday, December 29th at 6:30
I hope this works for everyone, since I really want everyone to be there. We will be eating at my house and don't forget to bring a gift. I haven't called anyone yet, but hopefully soon. Tara, I am still sad that you will not be making it, but I hope you love having Christmas in your new house, with your cute new baby, and darling girls!

Hope to see you all soon!

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Party

Christmas is coming!!
I will be having the Christmas party this year. I am hoping that everyone will let me know when a good date is for the party. Megan and Tara are you coming to town and when? And everyone else please let me know what works for you. I do know that the first week of December is out. I have also thought that maybe we could do it right after Christmas if that works better for everyone. So please look at your busy schedules and let me know some dates. The sooner the better, then I can let you all know. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

October Club

I guess since everybody knows it's my turn for club this month I better have it. Just kidding I want to. I know this week is very busy with Halloween, so I am wondering when the best time would be. I'm thinking Thursday night around 6:30. I know how hard it is to get a babysitter sometimes, so if it helps I'm going to have Kayleigh and Mckenna tend. Kayleigh is 13, and tends a lot for other people. Mckenna is almost 10 and loves to babysit. So just bring your kids to my house and we will go somewhere close and nobody can use the excuse that they don't have a babysitter. Due to a previous club conversation with Jami and Michelle about flower clips, I'm also going to have a very quick demonstration on how to make cute and inexpensive flower hair clips. Let me know if you can come or not.

Club Update

As you can see by previous post - we had club. We met at my house, and I thought for a while that I was going to be the only one to go up and meet Gina. Then Whitney called and said she was coming but would be a little late. Then Julie called and said she was sick and she wasn’t coming. Then Mindi let us know that she was also sick. So when there was a knock at my door I was excited to see Sharla. Then Jaimi called and said not to leave her. So not to bad, four of us to drive up north to meet Gina. Of course we missed all of you that didn’t make it. I promise that it is always worth it, even on days that you don’t totally feel like it. We met Gina at a gas station (that part felt kind of like high school again). So we finally make the decision to go to Olive Garden. We all start piling out and we hear all of these kids yelling. When we finally pay enough attention to who they were and what they were saying we realized that it was the workers saying that they are not opened yet. So now the dreaded decision that we have to make all over again. We ended up at Chiles. We decided to get some chips and salsa to munch on. And munch on them we did! I really don’t think we had to order a meal after getting drink after drink and eating chips and salsa. In the mean time we talked to Jill on and off. One minute she was going to meet us and then she had some visitors at her house, so she wasn’t able to make it. So what did we talk about, you know EVERYTHING. We talked about how excited we are for Mindi to be having another sweet girl. We also talked about how not so sweet Jaimi’s and Whitney’s girls are being. Gina’s and Whitney’s babies are getting big. Getting teeth, sitting, ready to crawl or crawling, all that fun but busy baby stuff. Sharla is trying to learn how to be a mother of a teenager. It sounds like a whole new ball game. Cell phones, dances, boys, crazy! After eating we went and did a little shopping. Sharla and Gina got good deals, $3.00 pajamas! Then we dropped of Gina and drove back home. It was an early night, since there was no "after club". We had fun, talked a lot, laughed a lot, ate a lot. Missed you all that didn’t make it. Hope you can all make it in October (Sharla’s month).

Hey everyone.  I am in charge of club for this month and I was just wondering what days will and wont work for everyone.  I am no longer the young women's president so I am free pretty much any time.  Also, do you want to have it at my house or would you rather we meet somewhere closer by.  Please give me your input.  Thanks.

Missed you in August

So everyone that did not come to club this month, missed out. As you all know we always enjoy being together and we always have a good time. Hopefully this month we will see everyone. So who was there, you ask... besides me, Sharla, Michelle, Julie and Jaimi. We went to Bajio so we would not get stuck over in the Riverwoods for an eternity again. It was great- we got our food fast and then just sat and talked. We stayed at Bajio for a while then went to Michelle’s where we just sat in my truck and talked some more. It seemed the main topic of the night were kids and starting school. We also got to hear about Jaimi’s little one grabbing the curling iron and getting his hand burned. Sharla was able to help in that area since her little one also recently got burned. The main thing that we learned that night, is no matter how hard we try, sometimes something bad happens anyway. That’s how we learn. It looks like Gina is next (right now she is in Disneyland with all three kids!) so hope to see you all next time!

Just for your Information

Well since I am one of the only ones without a blog, I thought I would update you all just a little. I don't know how many of you even know, but I have been questioned by some so I thought I would let you know that at the end of July we were finally approved for adoption with LDS Family Services. If anyone would like to see us, we are on www.itsaboutlove.com then on the left hand side click on "search adoption profiles" then put in our names like this kevinandsara. It is exciting and stressful all at the same time. We are in the "finding" period, which they say the average is two weeks to two years. So who knows! We are excited!! Hope all is well with all of you.

Post your links...

Okay girls, I'm wondering why none of you have posted your blog links on our class of 96 blog???? Hmmmmm? And no, I wasn't the one who created it, but I'm supporting whoever the mysterious person is who did.

And Tara - you've been in your new home for a while now, and we haven't seen pictures. Do you have a blog in the works yet? And Sara - What about YOU????

Class of 96 blog

Hey girls,
All of the graduating classes before AND after us have a blog...I think it's a great idea and nobody from our class has started one yet. I'm not volunteering for the job though - however, I thought I'd see if any of you had a strong urge to do it. :) (ha ha!)

Personally, I think Mindi made such a great head cheerleader back in high school (LOL!!!!) that she would make a great head blogger for the class of 96 now! What do you all think? Hmmmmmmm???????

Here is the update! Plus where in the world is Tara?

Ok - so this is a little late, I thought I would give some one else the chance to tell about the June club. So a lot of you missed out. It started out very small, and didn’t get to much bigger, but it was still a lot of fun to get together and talk (a lot). Liz, Whitney and I were the only ones, so we decided to stay in town and go to Bajio. Luckily when we were getting our food, Sharla showed up. So three moved up to four! We did our normal, ate and talked. We discussed rumors that we have heard and tried to figure out if any of them had any truth to them. And of course we talked about our own lives ups and downs. Liz told us about her new tactic with her children (if you want more info, check out her blog). After we decided that we need a little treat, so we went to Cold Stone and shared an ice cream. Whitney had to get back to her kids, so she left and Sharla took us back up to Liz’s. We sat and talked in her car, Sharla told us about her daughters burn (check her blog) then we decided it was way to hot in the car and moved ourselves to the backyard. Then Mindi showed up! Matt lit the Tiki torches that encompassed us with a delightful ambiance. Sharla then had to leave to get back to her family. I was concerned about the hornets nest in the very top pitch of the house, and Mindi was concerned with getting West Nile. After voicing our concerns we talked for a long time, then we tried to leave, but the conversation was to good. We made it to the front porch and that was it. You should all join us for the after club, the conversations are deep and enjoyable. We finally tore ourselves away from one another and went home. So now we can’t wait until July’s club.

Tara where the heck are you????? Are you good? How is the pregnancy? How is the house? Are you all moved in? Do you like the area? Are the girls adjusting? How is Scott doing? Does he like it? Are you so glad to have your own space? So many questions, no answers. I miss my friend and I would love to know how she and her family are doing. Hope all is well!

Hope to see you all out at the next get together.

Final Plans for June Club...

Okay - this is the last post I'm going to do today, I swear! I agree with Whitney...Summer is crazy for all of us, so let's just meet here at 6:30 and we'll either order out or go somewhere to eat. If you want to, we can come back here for an "after-party party" and enjoy the summer night in my backyard. Sound good?
If you have to meet us later, just call my cell or my house and we'll let you know where we are. Let's just bag the whole recipe exchange thing for later. I'm too stressed with other things right now to even have to worry about that. Okey Dokey??
Hope to see you all there!
Liz

Update on Club

Duh - I'm a nerd. I just realized that I can't have a get together Thursday night at my house, but I CAN do it Wednesday night, the 18th. So, let's plan on that. Come around 6:30 pm.

Okay - now how do we do a recipe exchange? Should I make a main dish and then you all bring side dishes and deserts? Or should we all just bring our favorite dish and see what we end up with? OR - what about this? Should we all just bring copies of our favorite recipes and just order out? HA HA! I'm not really sure how to do a recipe exchange, so if you all want to do this, please let me know HOW!! :)

Oh, and let me know if Wednesday works for you or not.

Love,
Liz

The REAL June club

Hey Girls -
Just wondering if June 19th is a good night for a get together at my house. I wasn't at our last club, but I was told that a lot of you guys would like to do a recipe exchange. Does that still sound fun to everybody? If so, we could meet at my house and bring a dish to share - along with recipe cards. Anybody up for this???

june club

for club this month, we are going to attend the recycling open house on Wednesday, June 11th from 5:30-7:30pm at the city office building. i think they want club 14 to be in some commercials they are shooting about recycling for channel 17. there will also be lots of information about the program and you can get a sneak peak at the state-of-the-art recycling bins that can be yours once you sign up for the program.

okay, so this isn't the real june club, but think of it as the before-club party. you all know i will be there.

p.s. 393 people have signed up now... nice!
p.p.s. lindsey v- i haven't forgotten about your inquiry, i'm still checking on something.

Sunday, June 8, 2008

Hey girls I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone. Hopefully I will be back soon and we can get together again. I also wanted to let you all know that we are having a Boy. We are super excited. Kennady wanted a brother so she is happy, and Brooklyn is getting used to the idea. It may take her a little while. So all you that have boys I need advice. I really don't want to turn him into a girly boy. So any advice will help. Well I hope you all have a great summer and keep in touch.

378 down, 1622 to go...

378 people have signed up for curbside recycling. if you are not one of them, read this post and do the fun experiment noted below!

some people get caught up on the $6 monthly fee. i think of it like this: $6 per month is a small price to pay for someone to come to your house, pick up your trash, sort it out, and make it into something useful. it also helps make the world a more healthy and clean place for you and your children to live.

by the way, the approved program allows you to mix all your recyclable materials together.

still unsure? try the following experiment. for the next day or two, put aside everything you would normally throw away that is found on the following list. at the end of the day (or two), look at what you have put aside and visualize the volume of material you could recycle in a week, a month, a year.
if at that point you are not racked with a horrible sense of guilt every time you toss a cereal box or empty soup can in the trash, i'd say you have no conscience and are too hardened for me to ever persuade.

jill just made my day!

by telling me the recycling program has been approved! i have been working on this since we moved here last year and i am sooo glad it is finally happening! since many of you happen to live in the same city (which will remain unnamed), this is my plug for you to sign up as well. i was hoping for a mandatory program, but a voluntary program is better than nothing.
as the city is requiring a minimum of 2000 participants, please do the responsible thing, go green, and start saving the planet!
details are in the city bill or on the website. i have posted an excerpt from an email i sent the mayor and city council last year below. i think it pretty much sums up my passion for the subject:

I am a new resident and was disappointed to learn that the city does
not offer a recycling program at this time. I have lived in three
other cities in the past ten years, all of which offered recycling to
residents. (two mandatory, one voluntary) After seeing that during
any given week our family recycles roughly twice the amount of
material that we throw away, it has been frustrating to revert to a
non-recycling lifestyle. I was encouraged today to find the recycling
survey on the city website.
My questions on this matter are:
1. Were the waste collection bids mentioned on the website conducted
in March of this year?
2. What type of feedback have you had thus far on a mandatory vs
voluntary program?
3. The site mentioned that a voluntary program would require a
minimum of 500 participants. How many have expressed interest?
I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my questions. If there
is anything I can do to help with this issue, please let me know as I
would be happy to help further the cause.

i am going to send an email to everyone i know in this town. you should too!

i am in love with this man.

May's Club The Story Of The Twilight Zone

Carrabba’s Italian Grill, 2008. Amid the glitz and the glitter of a bustling, college town at the height and beginning of summer, Carrabba’s Italilian Grill was a star in its own right, a beacon for all those that craved Italian food. Now, something is about to happen that will change all that. The time was yesterday on an evening very much like the one that you are in as you are reading this. Tonight’s story on The Twilight Zone is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. We invite you, if you dare, to continue reading because in tonight’s episode, you could be one of the stars. And this small Italian restaurant traveled directly to..... The Twilight Zone. (Do, do, doooooo ((that is the Twilight Zone theme music)) It started off innocently with a bunch of friends meeting in the Shopko parking lot. Two cars traveled to the listed location, not knowing before hand what could and would happen. Mindi drove the first vehicle while Sharla, Tara and Sara were the passengers. Lindsey B took control of the second, with her two children and Lindsey V along for the ride. The positive energies tried to warn them, when they called first and the hostess said, there was no wait. But the energies from the different dimension could not wait for them to enter, they had a plan, and the eight were part of that plan. When they arrived, they had no idea that they were about to step into the dimension, known as the Carraba's bubble. (Do, do, doooooo ) To no avail they stepped in. (Do, do, doooooo ) As they walked in they saw all the people waiting for a table. They went up and put there names on the list and were told ten to twenty minutes. As they sat and talked, time stood still. Conversations continued, other people waiting went back, but the eight were stuck. Stuck in a dimension that did not, could not move. What they could not see was that a bubble was placed over the eight for over an hour. Only the bubble invaders, as common people know them as the hostesses, waiters, and waitresses could go in and out. The bubble invaders were led by Carraba himself, an alien that enjoys eating the brains of high school friends that are always to loud when they get together. He was going to stop this loudness, he had is straw ready.(Do, do, doooooo ) The bubble invaders toyed with the eight fragile minds as they would bring them miniature slushes and tell them that it would only be a couple more minutes. The bubble invaders thought they were found out when the eight stood up and all started walking towards them. To throw the eight off, the bubble invaders grabbed the menus and took them back to a table, and told them that they would receive free dessert. The bubble continued among them. It was a normal eating situation, drinks, salad/soup, dinner, then dessert but everything was slowed down to a crawl. When the eight looked out of the bubble, it looked like everything was at normal earth speed. But inside they could feel time as if it were a snail trying to move to safety. The bubble invaders recovered quickly as another entered. The eight turned to nine as Bonnie sat down. One more brain for Carrabba. (Do, do, doooooo ) Text, and phone calls were made to loved ones and babysitters saying that the nine were going as fast as they could and that they would be home soon. An hour and a half (earthly time) later they were done with there meals and asked for the free dessert. To which the bubble invader responded sarcastically, knowing that the only dessert that would be given would be for Carrabba himself. The nine were relentless and told how they had been there forever. Carrabba could see them figuring it out. He told the bubble invader to take one of every dessert they had. The nine tried them, enjoyed them and then started to put everything together. When they read this sign...
He was so close, he had them almost the full four hours but Carrabba took the bubble off of them because they were to smart. He could not risk being found out. He loved brains to much. So the next time you get together with friends, be sure you know just what kind of place you'll be eating at or you may find yourself brainless and a permanent resident of...(Do, do, Doooooo) The Twilight Zone.

It was a great night! Love you all!!

First Club OverNighter

I was just organizing some of my pictures onto CD's and found these from our first trip to Park City.  Thought ya'll might get a kick out of them.  Ahhhh, the memories.... We are SO funny!

Jill
After we ran into Sharla, my husband is convinced we needed to change our blog address so I have updated the links for mine and Sharla's (Hope that's OK)  Sorry for the confusion.

Our blogs

Hey Guys,
I just realized yesterday that now Megan has a blog - if you haven't seen it, go check it out...it might make you wish you lived in Hawaii though! :)

Just wanted to give another plug for those who don't have blogs...ahem, ahem...SARA, TARA, GINA, JULIE, WHITNEY, am I missing anybody? Girls???

And Sharla, what happened to yours? I can't see it anymore. Did you change the name of it?

Anyway, it's been so fun seeing what is going on in everybody's lives.

Girls Night Out

Here are the pictures that we took last night when we went out to dinner. We went to PF Changs and ordered $85 worth of food to share! Oh my, was it good or what? I can sure tell you that Julie and I enjoyed ourselves. We only had 2 or 3 helpings of everything! (ha ha!)

It was fun to have Bonnie come and join us and add to the excitement! We need to have her come all the time and change this silly "club 14" thing to "club 15". By the way, why did we ever decide to call our girls night outs, club?? I think it has something to do with the generation before us (who all still get together as 50 and 60 year olds) calling theirs club. Am I right? Anyway, Bonnie, we loved having you and want you to come next time!
After dinner, Mindi, Tara, Sara, Bonnie and I were not ready to call it a night, so we headed over to Starbucks and enjoyed some hot chocolate. Of course, when we pulled up in front of Mindi's house, we STILL weren't ready to call it a night and sat in the car for an hour and a half chatting. It was lots of fun! We missed everybody that couldn't come. Sara - go ahead and give us a re-cap of things that I missed...you are so good at that!

Hope everybody has a good day!

blogger bandwagon

Okay Girly Girls...

As you can see, Sharla and Jaimi have now jumped on the blogger bandwagon and have family blogs so we can see the happenings in their worlds! (YAY!!!)

So once again, I am going to hound all of you who don't have blogs! Come on...just do it! Everybody's doing it! (ha ha - just kidding. I had to be a dork for a minute.) Honestly though, we want you to have blogs!!! Sara and Tara, I have bugged you enough - I would hate to bother you so much that you disown me as a friend, so I'll just bug say, um, GINA, MEGAN - you guys live so far away from us, this would be a great way for us to keep up with your lives!

Of course, everybody else should do it too - like, WHITNEY, LINDSEY V., JILL - come on girls...it's FUN!

Okay - I'll get off my soap box now.

Hugs -

Wanna get CPR Certified?

Hi Girlies...

I know this is entirely random, but if anyone wants to get CPR certified, I have a guy coming to my house this Friday at 10:00 to certify me. Ever since I started having kids, I thought it would be a good idea to know CPR, but just never did anything about it until now. Anyway, it's $35 and about 2 hours long. He's teaching CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator). I doubt anyone really wants to spend 2 hours of their Friday playing with a dummy, but just in case I thought I'd let you all know.

:)

Have a good one!

Hi everyone. I just checked out our blog and nobody has posted anything forever. I was bored so I thought I would see what was going on on Liz's family blog. I just saw that she has submitted her adoption papers and I am so excited! I haven't seen anyone for so long that I didn't even know this was going on. Congratulations on your decision Liz. Baby Lia Higginson

Hey everyone I finally figured out what I'm doing I think? I had Lia on March 11th @ 7:17pm. She weighed in at 7lbs 5oz and 19 inches long. She has so much dark black hair I don't know what to do. I have never had a baby with this much hair, I hope it stays dark, but with my other girls it's hard to imagine. I can't wait to let you all see her, I wish I new how to post a picture maybe if I work on this a little more I might figure it out. See you all soon.

Re-cap of our weekend away

Hey All,
Here are a few pictures of our "sleep-over"this past weekend. For those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you like crazy! We had a really good time though!

Here are the highlights of the weekend:
1. Surviving the car ride with Jill behind the wheel...and not crashing in the car garage!
2. Running across the street with Whitney holding the orange flag so we didn't get hit by a car - and almost getting hit anyway!
3. Freezing our tooshies off because we walked to a restaurant that didn't exist. Luckily, Macaroni Grill was close by, so we ended up eating there.
4. Waiting FOREVER to get our food, only to find that four of us had food that was cold.
5. Tara asking the waitress if anybody would "spit in our food".
6. Generous offers to "massage somebody's cysts" if they would stay the night...(you DEFINITELY had to be there to understand this one.)
7. Laughing SO hard in the restaurant, that several of us almost needed the Heimlich Maneuver.
8. Way too many camera happy moments in the hotel. (We stayed at The Hilton.)
9. Late night trip to Olive Garden for desert. (Two restaurants in one night!)
10. Staying up until 3:00 in the morning talking about EVERYTHING from babies to blogging.
11. Discussing the Twilight Series and what we all think Edward should look like in the movie - and how much we all love him.
12. Getting woken up way too early by some weirdo knocking on our door!
13. Shopping at the Gateway, lusting after clothes from Anthropologie that none of us could afford. ($18 for a tiny little headband?? Are you kidding?)
14. Divine hot chocolate at Starbucks for breakfast...at 11:45 in the morning!
15. Surviving our close call fender bender in the parking lot.
16. Dealing with the "oh-so-pleasant" man in the pay booth.
17. Finding a "fast food" restaurant on the way home, so we could be quick, and ending up waiting in line for 30 minutes!
18. Feeling like really big teenagers all weekend.

What else am I missing?? Sara? You're good at giving the re-cap...anything you want to add? Anyway, we had a wonderful time getting away from real life for 24 hours. Thanks Jill for planning this and for everyone that came. It was a wonderful breath of fresh air!
Love you guys,
Liz

Overnighter this weekend!

Hey Girls,
Jill asked me to post this for her.

Our overnighter is planned! We will be heading out on Friday 22nd, around 5:30ish. We'll go to Salt Lake for some dinner and fun and then those who can't stay overnight can go home, while the rest of us go to the hotel for some girl bonding. Most likely, we'll go out shopping the next morning at the Gateway - or wherever our little hearts desire! Hope you can all come!

Starbucks NEXT Wednesday night!

Okay girls, since Whitney and Jaimi both have hubbies out of town, and since Will won't be home from work until 9:15 tonight, we've decided to change our Starbucks night to NEXT Wednesday night. Tara...does that still work for you? If this works, say - maybe around 8:45ish on the 13th - post here. We'll plan a meeting place and then head off for some yummy hot chocolate and girl time!

Re-cap

So for all of you that did not come to club here is a little of what you missed. It was the brunettes only club, which was pointed out to us by a guy that shared our table ( if you're wondering why a man was sharing our table, we went to Tepanyaki). Michelle definitely has the most going on, as her brother and grandfather are in the hospital. Hopefully both will come home soon. Tara is just excited to get out of here and into her new house! Ok, so she will be sad to leave all of us, but a NEW HOUSE! Mindi secretly wishes that she worked for Apple and if she could own everything they sale she would, and what would be better then that is if we also owned everything they sale. It is Mindi’s secrete fantacy! Whitney is ready to have her baby. Which she doesn’t have a name picked out for, yet. And she is realizing that four kids is a lot. Michelle concurred. Jill and I shared the Deluxe Feast for Two, and enjoyed every bite! Jill is in charge for February and right now we are going to try and do an overnighter on the 22nd. Put it on your calendar, and I am sure we will learn more later. We also all think that maybe once a month is just not enough, so we will be getting together for drinks. It will be posted, to when and where! Everything else - well you should have come. Hope to see you all next time, since I think I am the only regular!

recipes

i have a minute so i thought i would post my recipes as requested:
*
butternut bisque:
peel and dice medium (3 lb) butternut squash into 1" chunks.
put in a glass dish with a little water.
microwave for 5 minutes at a time until tender, stirring after each 5 min interval.
mash with potato masher.

simmer on medium 10-15 minutes.  remove from heat.
puree with braun-type hand mixer.
turn on low heat and add 1/2 cup cream.
*
winter salad:
combine desired amount of romaine, iceberg, and spinach
add 2 mandarin oranges, peeled and diced
seeds of one pomegranate.  (click here for instructions on removing seeds)
sugared pecans (i just combine pecans and sugar in frying pan and stir until sugar melts then pour on wax paper until cool)
finely shredded mozarella (kraft is best)
trolley poppy seed dressing (you can buy this by the pint for like $6)
*
refrigerator rolls
dissolve 5 1/2 tsp yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water
scald 1 cup milk in saucepan.  remove from heat and add 3/4 cup shortening; stir occasionally until shortening is melted.
beat 2 eggs, 2 tsp salt, and 3/4 cup sugar.
add 1 cup cold water and mix.
add milk/shortening mixture, and yeast/water mixture.
beat in 7 cups flour.  (works best in kitchen aid mixer)
cover with a saucepan lid and refrigerate overnight.
roll out with rolling pin until 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
cut out circles using a drinking glass.
dip in butter and fold over.
let rise until double (2-3 hours)

rice pilaf
chop 1 cup onion and 2 cups celery
saute in 1/2 cube (1/4 cup) butter until onion and celery are cooked

stirring constantly until rice is brown.
combine everything in pyrex baking dish with 6 cups chicken broth
cover and bake at 300 for 1 and 1/2 hours.
add toasted slivered almonds before serving.
*
meat fondue:
cut up meat chunks (steak, shrimp, chicken) and cook in vegetable broth.
chicken takes forever to cook.
*
chocolate fondue:
heat 1/2 cup heavy cream in saucepan until steamy.
remove from heat and add 8-9 regular size hershey's bars, broken into pieces.
stir until melted and add 1 tsp vanilla.
